ABOUT KABEL

         Kabel A.Þ. started producing cable harness for refrigerators in 1978 in its Eskiþehir plant. The phlisophy of exceeding customer expectations is ingrained from the start. High satisfaction of the customer paved the way for more business. In 1989 the Gebze plant was built upon request to manufacture washing machine harnesses. On its quality journey, this plant became one of the first fifty plants to receive ISO 9000 in Turkey in 1993. When the dishwasher production in Turkey started, Kabel A.Þ. was the preffered supplier and invested in its third plant in Ankara in 1993. All the plants are located in industrial zones close to customer for better service and logistics. Kabel A.Þ. is the largest manufacturer of cable harness for appliance in Turkey. Kabel A.Þ. serves almost all of Arçelik A.Þ.' s cable harness needs for refrigerators, washing machines and dishwashers. The current annual harness capacities are 2 million for refrigerators, 2 million for washing machines and 0,8 million for dishwashers. Kabel A.Þ. employs 600 weltrained people in its plants.

  In 1986 upon customer request the production of wire shelves for refrigerators was initiated in Eskiþehir. The growth in this segment continued with the refrigerator baskets. In 1993 Kabel A.Þ. invested in its Ankara plant for dishwasher products. This way Kabel A.Þ. became the first and the sole manufacturer of the dishwasher baskets in Turkey. Later, Kabel A.Þ. assisted the design of several different models of baskets, prepared the project for the manufacturing systems and acquired the required machinery from leading providers and the group company Makel A.Þ. In this stage the machines are designed according to the process capability requirements of Kable A.Þ. is able to offer tailored wire welding products to its customer. For example, wire meshes for containers are being produced for European customers. Kable A.S. is a member of the of the Endel Group of Companies.
